People pre-ordering game can "reserve" their game name currently. Not sure if "Akira" will be available when I purchase, doubt it, so I have to do some variation. Clan tag is a separate field, game adds it to your username during game.

So you have to pre-order it from where to reserve your tag? I need Cowl

Or will it work if some tool takes Cowl and I use Cowl [CotC] with the clan tags?

I don't think I will be buying this game... the weapons, the vehicles, etc... are not fair. It's too one-sided for my taste. The strogg have all the cool stuff.. a teleporter..a helicopter... a jetpack.... a railgun... all kinds of awesome stuff.. that there are no gdf equivalences for..

Hmm, well, someone may reserve Cowl, but you could create a username of Cowl[CotC] and not use the clan tag field in game. Not fully sure. Pre-order, you can reserve your name. For me, I may have to use Ak1ra or similar.

That may be an anti-selling point for me. If I have to change my gamer name because of some registration process, then I say screw it.
