Which games in the package do you recommend I install anyone? How many of these are still played?

Have you played any of these previously?
Quake 3 is the most recent and is 100% multiplayer if you don't want to stare at rediculously old graphics.
Hexen/Heretic/Doom will all give you the "old skool" experience. They are where the FPS genre truely started.
In truth a lot of the games on the list have significant singleplayer experiences and you should try em all!

Hexen and Doom I played back in the day. I also played doom 3 but never completed. Never played any of the others. thx for input.

the ONLY reason i got into computers and technology was due to Doom. I wanted to play it.
