A new star in the sky

				For those with in interest in such things, if you go outside and
look up into the Eastern sky, you may notice that the constellation
Perseus appears to have a new star. This is Comet Holmes,
which increased in brightness by about 1,000,000 times today,
no one knows why. Viewed by a small telescope under moderate
magnification, the halo is bright yellow, with a small core.
The comet circles the Sun every 7 years between the orbits of
Mars and Jupiter.

For those without telescopes, here is a pic I took from my scope:

 I thought that you were going to bring us to witness something spectacular, such as the birth of a new sun. Instead, it's just a celestial chunk of ice, and whats worse, it's missing its tail!?
