North Carolina School of Science and Math for 11th & 12th grade. A great educational opportunity
We are very excited for him, but it will be tough to not have him at home, and living on campus in Durham, NC.
I made him promise that the school wouldn't turn him into a liberal!!!
He has been in the same private school since he was 2, so it should be a real experience for him at public school. Not to mention that he gets a tuition waiver at all NC public Universities like NC state or UNC.

				Congrats!
Public school will definitely be a change, that's for sure!
Better that he experience it this late though and not earlier in his school years.
I think at that age they already have a pretty good understanding of who they want to be, so it's a little harder to corrupt them with bad influence.
God knows I had a lot of bad influence when I went through school! lol

Good work on the parenting Warf! Although as CSN&Y, Carly Simon, Mike and
the Mechanics, and many others have sung, your kids will probably break your
heart with their choices, as mine have. That is one of the honor badges of
parenthood, along with the wrinkles and gray hairs from worrying about them

Respectfully, but still hoping your kids turn into Obama liberals,

Well Data, my son decided not to go. It is a major disappointment, at least to me. I can't believe he is passing on the opportunity. Live and learn, I guess.
