Doom, the movie...

...sucks beyond all suckage.

Kinda cool on the big screen, and that's the only reason to see it. Oh, and the main female character is hot.

If you're planning on waiting for DVD, don't bother. Unless you have a home theater.

If you're gonna see it, do it fast - I predict a VERY short theater run, LOL.

Actually, I heard there are a lot of bad reviews as there, just as your opinion is - but I feel the exact opposite. I loved the movie. (I saw it opening night - Friday night).. They even pay an hommage (sp?) to the game itself in part of the movie where it's as though you are playing the game.. hard to explain, but its awesome... and even though the story line doesn't exactly fit the game it's a great movie.. I kinda wish there were other doom weapons in the movie though.. like the rocket launcher and plasma rifle..

When it comes out on DVD, I'm definately getting it.

I had heard it had it's good and bad parts but was worth the money to go and see it. As all movies, I'll wait to d/l it though.

Yeah, the only fun in that film is the BFG, actually I play the game again now for the impression
